Cultivating Resting Mind (Joyful U)
The Prairie Sangha is pleased to announce a special event on Monday September 15th with sangha members Barbara Minsker and Ryan Santens (founder of and instructor at Joyful U, respectively). Learn the Open Heart and Open Mind practice espoused by Tsoknyi Rinpoche to cultivate resting mind, and share the experience through mindful listening techniques. The event will begin with the usual evening teatime at 7:45, followed by this hands-on session and discussion from 8-8:45. Barbara and Ryan will also briefly share plans for their new program in Mindful Listening with Purpose and Resilience, which is beginning this Fall with workshops and retreats. Family and friends are invited to join this event, as meditation experience is not required.
