A Day of Mindfulness with Bridget Rolens - 9/17/16
You’re invited join us on Saturday, September 17, 2016, 12 noon-6 p.m. for a meditation retreat led by Bridget Rolens at the Friends Meetinghouse, 1904 East Main Street, Urbana.
Please bring a vegetarian "finger food" snack to share.
We are grateful to Bridget for agreeing to lead us again. For those who are interested, she will be available for 10-minute interviews during walking meditation and after the retreat is over; you can sign up for these when you arrive.
“Beginners” are welcome. We will all be bringing our “beginner's mind.” If you have questions, please feel free to email us, and if you know someone who is interested in coming, just ask them to email us.
Charge will be $20 to help cover rent for the building (and if people can't pay the full amount, we understand). Bridget Rolens’ time and travel will be covered by dana.*
Please contact us if you have any questions.
* A Note About Dana - The wisdom of the Buddhist tradition has been passed down from one generation to the next through an "economy of generosity." Teachers practice generosity by offering the teachings without charging a fee. Those who receive the teachings support the livelihood of the teacher through the generosity of their financial assistance and make it possible for them to offer the dharma freely. Your donation in addition to the registration fee supports the livelihood of the teacher and makes it possible to continue offering the Dharma freely.
